Peter King SI Quote
1. "I think if Reggie Fowler's bid to buy the Vikings succeeds, my name is Elmer Fudd. Won't be happening, people. And it has nothing to do with color, unless you're talking about the color of money. I don't think Fowler has enough of it."
OK so Peter King doesn't think the sale is going to go thru... What does that mean to us? Red has been spending like he was spending someone elses money, is he basically trying to make the team unattractive with the long term contracts so that in the end he can move to L.A.? Any thoughts anyone? And where does this leave our man Taylor? Most football teams are temperamental. That s 90% temper and 10% mental.

Red is not intentionally spending somebody elses money. I am sure that Fowler gave Red the go ahead to make these transactions. What does Red care, he's getting his cash.
The contracts don't really look like they will hurt us too bad in the future.

umm fowler does have enough money, he needs to sell part of his company to have that money and he won't do so until the league approves the sale. and his partners are very rich, but i still want taylor to own the vikings cause he is a man i can trust and feel comfortable with; he is true to himself and he wants to keep teams here.
I don t buy Wisconsin cheese.

Peter King was at the owners meeting hanging out at the pool and talking informally with team reps. I don't think it's just buying a percentage of the Vikings but there is a stadium too!! I don't think he can afford both and the stadium is put off [b]

It seems to me that all of the Vikings fan dont want Fowler only Fowler and some owners want him. I want to Taylor cause he will probably some how get us a stadium and he will keep the vikings where the norsemen roam freely and a proud.
