Peter King choose Bills over Vikings, Chicago over Seattle

Minnesota (2-1) at Buffalo (1-2)
This is one of those games that could make or break Bills quarterback J.P. Losman. The Vikes have allowed one touchdown pass in three games and their cornerbacks, Fred Smoot and Antoine Winfield, are tough to throw on. Just a hunch, but I think Losman's going to make enough plays to win. He showed some spunk last week in Buffalo's loss to the Jets.

Seattle (3-0) at Chicago (3-0)
I think Rex Grossman makes one more play than Matt Hasselbeck. Here's why: Grossman's been sacked twice in 12 quarters; the line's keeping him relatively clean. The Seattle line has protection issues -- Hasselbeck's gone down eight times and has been hit a lot more. This is not the week, playing in Chicago with a raucous crowd and a fired-up Bears defense, to have protection issues.

He makes it pretty obvious that hes biased against us.We just lose to the Bears, and the Bills just lose to the Jets.Yet...Buffalo is the better team?King should not just look at the "numbers" to judge his picks.Its almost like WHO do we have to beat to get a lil respect around here?Annnnd then if we beat Buffalo its..."Minnesota beats a 1-3, weak Buffalo team."

exactly =) he always makes his choices like this for the vikings, thats why i was very upset with cajun when he brought me and peter's relationship into question!! (the whole king thing lol)

All i have to say is if we lose, i am not visiting this nor any other vikings site until either we make the playoffs or next season. I'm super duper serial.

Not necessarily.
It is a home game for Buffalo, a notoriously tough place to play.
It is somewhat universally accepted that the AFC is tougher than the NFC.
And the Vikings have just barely been squeaking by, needing a doofy punt return gaffe and then a fake FG TD pass to win one of our two games (both needing a FG at the end to win) and then narrowly losing the third late in the game.
The Bills did a number on the road against the Dolphins for their win, and narrowly lost their opener on the road late to the Patriots.
Johnson's experience should give the Vikings a slight edge over Losman's inexperience and inconsistency, but don't sell the Bills short.
And King is only predicting a win by three.

Obviously, the betting public agrees with King as the Bills are a one point favorite in Vegas.
