It was about a year ago that we were talking about Wilf’s 77-page code of conduct — a manifesto of morals, a penning of personal responsibility....

    Shouldn't be a double standard . . . suspend VICK like you did PAC-MAN.

Why can't WILF be linked to "being ahead of his time" with winning?
    Maybe this year . . .

Alot of that has to do with circumstances and History. Had it not been for the love boat incident and his desire to have a clean image so he can get us to build him a new playhouse I am not sure the conduct policy would have been a keystone of his transition.

It is,however a good and increasingly necessary part of professional sports across the nation. I wonder what it says about our country as a whole.

Would he have done the code of conduct if the boat crap didn't happen?

No, because I don't thing Zygi would have thought it necessary. I don't think the public would have thought it was necessary, either, and without the fans' support*, no new owner would ever try putting through a policy like that.

*meaning the desire of the fans for Zygi to take some kind of action. I know that reaction was mixed to the code of conduct, but most people wanted him to do something.

If Zygi hadn't done it, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell would still have done it and Zygi's work would have been done for him. I applaud Goodell's actions as well as Zygi's work. Now if we could only get Hollywood to design some code of conduct.

When it was the boat scandal everyone wanted proof before any of our players got in trouble. Obviously not as serious of a charge but lets let the run its course.

    Home of 10,000 controversies!
    No More!!
And, that is why I think that BChill has a few more years promised to him.

Sure, We've lost alot of big time playmakers, but is there anyone out there who doesn't see that we've also lost the Me First, GiMME-Gimme's...the I'm above the law, what's 10grand to me (straight cash baby)'s...and the What Do You Mean there's a new playbook guy's???

Looking through our draft picks and FA signings since BChill took over, there is one overriding theme:
HIGH CHARACTER AND HIGH WORK ETHIC, TEAM PLAYERS!!

    SKOL!!
Instead of under-achieving, overpaid superstars, we're building a team based on over-achieving blue collar workers, and I LOVE IT!!
Control the line, control the time, and give your D a chance to shine!!
