He is a recognized leader, by the Team, the media, and, PP.O, for that matter. My point is that whining to the press that you aren't happy, is not a way to show leadership...that's it. Let's not forget, he is a Viking because the Vikes stepped up and drafted a kid that failed his drug test...at the fucking Combine.

Get back to form Harvin, this is an embarrassing little display IMHO.
This guy believes himself to be one of the premiere wideouts in this league and I agree with him. Why should he have to put up with a moronic coaching staff and FO? Sure he's pouting, but that's just a reaction to playing for a poorly managed team.

I'm giving the coaching staff a pass on this one. It's hard to work Percy into the game plan more when he's questionable all week and doesn't practice. He hasn't missed many games but he sure has been limited in practice time. He's got to prove that we can count on him playing every week not just hoping he'll be able to play. The guys a phenomenal talent but he's also got some of that diva w.r. in him.

Like I said in my first post in this thread, I see both sides. The team is poorly managed from top to bottom... AND... Harvin is acting like a pouting child. Blaming Harvin or the Vikes individually is pretty myopic.

Dead on. Harvin is being a pout baby for sure ... especially considering he could have said something a LONG time ago.

BUT ... that does not blind me from the fact that Harvin is in the trenches with these folks and CLEARLY thinks that there is no way this team is moving up. He won't get traded of course, and will still play with his all because that is how he rolls.

We can only hope that he is proven wrong and shown that this team does have some promise.

I'm actually starting to side with Harvin more on this one. The guy will make less than either Jenkins or Simpson this year, which is laughable.

Get paid, Harvin. Do what you gotta do.

Well, with you still sporting the "Disclaimer: I'm an idiot" below all your posts, he really didn't have to.

He has a grand total of two star play makers on offense & doesn't believe when one of them is unhappy & wants to be traded, there's no urgency in trying to find out why or address it.

A few faces have changed on the coaching side, but it seems we're trying to install the same shit Childress was trying to install 6 years ago. Same song, 2nd verse.

I think it does have to do with the QB. Just watch the video on the link below. After saying he's been breaking down the film, the first position Harvin mentions QB....

Also the fact that he's not "in tune with personnel" would make be believe QB. What other postion would a WR not be "in tune" with?

I absolutely think the fact that Webb isn't being given a fair chance is part of why Harvin is asking for a trade. The proof is in the pudding:

This screams Randy ratio all over again. Shouldn't be a surprise that he and Moss are buddies.

I find it pathetic. He can bitch about usage.....well lets not just ignore the shoulder surgery he is recovering from. A injury that limited his reps last year that was bad enough to require surgery!
