It was fine. I guess i always thought the point of a song, especially rap, was to at least mildly rhyme. There didn't seem to be a whole lot of that, in this song.

Not saying the Percy Harvin song does, but alliteration is another tool commonly used in rap.
Eminem for example, has not only made an impressive career using alliteration, but has become one of the best lyricists ever.
