Pep talk for the Vikes
One of the assistant coaches should use this before the game at Green Bay:
Well, boys ... I haven't a thing to say.
Played a great season...all of you. Great season.
I guess we just can't expect to win ‘em all.
I'm going to tell you something I've kept to myself for days --
All of you know Mike Tice.
He played long before your time.
But you know what happened to him last week.
And the last thing he said to me -- "Rock," he said -
"sometime, when the team is up against it -- and the
breaks are beating the boys -- tell them to go out there
with all they got and win just one for the Gimper...
(should get a laugh, and reverse psychology on the "played a great season, can't expect to win em all" line might light a fire, too)
