Pennington is an injury proned version of Brad Johnson. I'll pass.

No arm strength left there, too many injuries.
I'm over tossing draft picks away for other team's leftovers...there are reasons they don't want him any more.

Don't really see CLE letting Anderson walk too cheap...but I'd rather go there, at least he's connecting down field.

I know its early, but any other guys who might be available for a reasonable trade or FA...?

Re: Pennington Benched in the Meadowlands. Would he be a nice fit here?

You know, I am against bringing in Pennington... but he's better than anything we have now, so whatever.

I like Anderson, but he won't have Winslow and Edwards to throw to if he comes to Minnesota... so don't expect to see him put up the same numbers if he comes here. (It's a sad day when you have to admit the Cleveland Browns have a better offense than you do) The Browns aren't going to pay Brady Quinn the money that they are to just sit on the bench... I wonder which one they will be willing to part ways with - Quinn or Anderson. I'd take either.

Anybody want us to draft Dennis Dixon... because I sure as hell do.

Regardless of all this, we have to get rid of Childress... the guy is a joke.

    Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.

Why would you want another useless QB on this team?

Derek Anderson is the best option IMHO because:

    1) He is going to be a RFA worth a first and third round pick.
Count on it. (Hopefully Spielman can work out a draft day trade for just a first round pick!)

    2) Even so, the fact that he is playing well in the NFL now, makes him much more of a plus over ANY ROOKIE COMING OUT IN NEXT YEARS DRAFT!
    PERIOD!

    3) I think Anderson would give this team the best chance of winning sooner, rather than later.
    Sorry TJack lovers!
He is not ready and based on what we have seen to date, he may never be ready, but I still think he's 10 times better than the two useless tits on a bore in Holcomb and Bollinger!

Oops, edited my post while you were responding.

No, I would not want the Vikings to give up a 1st and 3rd for Anderson.
I would however accept them trading their first round pick for him.
Anderson is now getting the experience of the NFL and currently has thrown more TDs than any other NFL QBs not named Brady or Peyton!
With that so far this season he has shown the moxie to play very good football.
Not too shabby for a former 6th round pick!

I'd much rather see the Vikings go after Anderson with a first round offer than waste it on a potential hit or miss Rookie coming out next year!
    PERIOD!!

id rather they trade the first round for CJ or Fitz... i think the upgrade at receiver would help just as much if not more...

    anyways pennington sucks so no!
