Paul Allen
Gotta say that guy is the best play by play radio guy in the NFL. The call on the Sidney Rice TD was great.

Re:Paul Allen
I have two of his calls on my iPod with video. His Greg Lewis call still gives me goosebumps and I also have the Percy Harvin KR TD from the same game.

A friend of mine who lives in St. Louis was listening to a Vikings game on Sirius earlier this year. His comment to me was about how awful PA was. If I were not a Viking fan, I would probably agree. He's a homer. And that's fine for our fans and our market.Gotta say that guy is the best play by play radio guy in the NFL. The call on the Sidney Rice TD was great.

Isn't that what you want on your local radio station?
I have a sound file on my PC that I just have to listen to every once in a while. It's one from the Cowboys game this year by Wayne Larrivee, where Woodson makes the interception in the end zone to seal the game.

It never gets old."You can look pretty smart if you have a knack for planning ahead. That's Ted. The Packers are in good hands." - Ron Wolf

its fine to be a homer in a small market like minneapolis. he has one of the most recongnizable voices in the league. the others that come to mind are:
Merril Reese of the Eagles
The guy who does the chargers dont know his name but know his voice
the guy who does "touchdown Raaaaiiiders!" i think his name is greg poppa
thats about itNone

Re:Paul Allen
Before I had sunday ticket and when the station was available here in Canada (they blocked it now), I listened to him every game. My favourite call of his is the field goal against the packers. I'll add it to the topic next time I am on my computer.
