Percy Harvin, who ran five kickoffs back for touchdowns in his four seasons with the team and averaged 34.2 yards per return in his final two.
Patterson averaged 28 yards per return last year in college, so we shall see if that carries over to the NFL.

Personally this is not what I want him to excel at. We need him more on offense than ST and returns take a toll on the body and shorten careers. Look at the beating that. Harbinger took to get those numbers. I would rather have a more expendable player doing that job.

While he is a big threat, I have to agree that having him return kicks is dangerous.

agreed, but he can excel at it until he learns to be an nfl receiver
Why must you defend everything this FO does....to the point of making your self look like a yes man.

This is a no-brainer on virtually all levels. CP has reportedly much to learn about route running. Ain't no routes on a kickoff return. Kid has moves, can run like a deer, strong enough to break an arm tackle, has return skills...duh.

Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent

It worked out for the WR career of Devin Hester.

A KO return means points. More Points equals more wins. IF he can do this then I'm happy.
