Is Pat Williams starting to feel discontent over Favre?
Pat Williams downplays Favre angle
....Williams isn't thrilled with all the attention on Favre this week, even if he's returning to Lambeau Field.
"Everybody has an opinion. But it ain't just Brett going down there," Williams said. "He's got 52 other guys going there with him. So it's our team. It ain't Brett's team.
"Everyone makes it seem like it's Brett's team, but this is the Minnesota Vikings," Williams said, "and Brett is a part of our family."

Keep the hate coming
"There are 3 things that sell in America:
Violence, sex, and drugs.
The only way you are going to make this game more appealing to the public than it was before is if there are on field orgies at halftime and the domes become massive opium dens."

Like you, the press might have taken a snippet of what he said and only wrote what seemed to fit thier agenda.

Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

Re: Is Pat Williams starting to feel discontent over Favre?
He made similar statements after the game saying that all week everyone wanted to make this about Brett, this is the MN Vikings and Brett is part of our team.
I just think that he is trying to keep everyone focused on the task at hand.
It would be easy to get caught up in the glitz and glamour of the Brett Favre thing.
I would he is the type of guy in the locker room who helps keep players on task.
