    If he retires and he got paid assuming he would be back he has to re-pay some money

    I don't know the specifics but plummer owes the bucs 3 mil if he doesn't play again.

    His contract moved to the Buc's when he was traded and that is the fraction of his signing bonus accounted for this year.
    When Ricky Williams was going to retire he owed the Fins a few mil back for his signing bonus, but he smoked it and had to play after he cameback from his suspension, but he got suspended again.
    It's kind of strange, you retire and you owe bonus money back to the team, fail drug tests and you miss you're salary but keep the bonus ???
