It is unclear why, but starting nose tackle Pat Williams is running and stretching with a Vikings staffer.

He does not have a uniform on, and his unit is working with their helmets on.

I have an inkling why he's not practicing but I don't want to speculate.

The mystery deepens!

The players were issued nice mountain bikes. But the most distinctive bike belonged to cornernack Fred Smoot, who had a small dirt bike, replete with spinning rims.

Yeah I wouldn't want Big Pat running around too much in this heat. I don't think he'd fair too well.

I'm guessing he probably didn't pass the conditioning test, which is probably for the best. We don't need a big guy like him pushing it too hard in the test, when it's so hot.

I think he'd be better suited being wheeled around the field in a wheel chair on hot days like this. :lol: I love him though.

Yes, but hopefully they are working him a little bit, so he can stay in shape! We dont want our fat pat to get winded every play, and have to come out because of it! :lol:
