    Pat Williams inactive for tonight's game

    Pat Williams, Devin Hester among inactives

    Good news for Matt Forte: Minnesota will be missing the key to their rush defense Monday night.

    Pat Williams was among the Vikings inactives announced for the game against the Bears. His absence is a surprise despite being listed as questionable with an elbow injury. The Vikings may be playing it safe with the playoffs near.

    Jimmy Kennedy will start for the Vikings.

    That sucks! Jimmy Kennedy is no slouch and has improved a lot this year, but there is a definite dropoff from Pat Williams to him.

    It appears that Phat Pat might be more important than just as a run stuffer on this team.

    Looks like he is the cat demanding double teams that free up JA and Ray.

    I didn't see this prior to the game. Phat Pat's absence was felt and I do think it plays a key role in their inability to perform as a unit.
