Viking Pat Williams has a formula for making a marriage last.

"It's all 50-50," Williams said.

"These days, if you don't make it work, they can get half your money."

LMFAO! Boy is that the truth or what. Two words that I will always have tattooed in my brain. Pre-Nup Agreement.

Mar, hate to burst your bubble but, Pre-Nups aren't worth crap 50% of the time in court now adays either.....





It's porven all the time in high profile cases where a pre-nup is in place.




Plus, if you need a pre-nup to begin with, you dont have the right woman looking in your eyes.




On a good note, when you do find the one you love, and she loves you just as much as you love her, life together is a beautiful thing.
I'm sure everyone here has read that I'm a happily married man, and Margie is not only my wife but my Rock, Best of Friends, and wonderfull mother to our child.
Not to mention she's a hell of a cook on top of that..

I didn't read the artical, but in the quote, sounds like he says it's a 50 / 50 relationship, where both have to give and take on almost a daily basis.
This is oh so true, and again, when you can get tht formula and your love to go hand and hand, nothing can ever tear that appart.




I'm serious, and it's a very serious step in anyones life.
If one makes it a joke, then more than likely their marriage wil become a joke.

The bolded part reminds me of my hunny, Shanna.
Except the kids thing (cause we ain't got any yet..
lol).
Everything in your post is 100% true.

I know it's cheesy and all.. but there's an awesome book called 'The Five Love Languages'.
Shanna and I read that book, and not only has it helped us speak each other's love languages, but it made our relationship (we read it before getting married) stronger, ten-fold.

We highly recommend that book to any of our friends who are in semi-serious relationships.
