I am just barely old enough to remember the Kramer to Ahmad Rashad catch against Cleveland.

I was also 15 rows up from Randy's first TD.
    I remember that one.
That was the start of something fun called the 98 season.

    Loved that play.
It is a shame that a lot of people don't remember some of the great Vikings plays from the old Met days...

(BTW, what a POS the old met was... look at the horrible seating configuration!)
The "Miracle Catch" happened almost 30 years ago (Dec. 1980) & we haven't played in the Met for 28 years.

It's not really a "shame", it's just that most of our members are too young or weren't even born yet to remember that play or the Vikings playing in the Met.

Yes the Ahmad Rashad catch is my favorite.
I remember having to run and tell my Dad because he gave up on the Vikes and left the room (leaving the room during a bad game or even a bad play is typical for most MN Dads who had watched 4 superbowl losses during their life).

My second choice, which is maybe more of a memorable game than just a memorable TD, was Anthony Carter in the playoffs against the mighty 49er's.
    I believe it was 1987.
Understand the media made Jerry Rice as God's gift to football back then and the Vikes were such underdogs.
A.C. completely stole the show against the 9ers in their heyday.

Yep. It doesn't seem like that long ago at times.

Good idea for a thread Kevon!

Yep, this is my favorite too, will never, ever forget that game.
Don't forget, they had to win that game to win the Division.

    The Moss compilation was awesome.
Gotta admit, I was in the Dome for his breakout 1st game as a rookie vs the Bucs.
He had 48 and 31 yd touchdown receptions, and, if Brad Johnson could throw the ball farther, he would have had two more...maybe more.
The fans at that game knew he and that Team was going to be special.
That is why those TDs were so memorable to me, in particular.

Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent

The sad part is I'm not even that old (I have, however, been called a dirty bastard before. ).

Geez I remember watching a lot of games at the met, and truth be told I was pretty gol 'darnit young at the time.
Of course, I am doing it to my kids too.
My son was 2 1/2 when he went to his first Green Bay game with me.

+1 to the Peterson TD, that's my favorite.
