    Agree agree agree.

Yes, on Kickoffs only, you dont get the same chances to tee off on a guy that punt returners get.
And getting him in the open field a great advantage for us.
I guess I dont see the dramatic difference in the chance for injury returning kickoffs vs regular running plays.
And heaven forbid if he scores a few times the TDs count the same as if he were running them in on offense.

Having said that if he continues to have as dominant performances as last week from offensive sets, I might be conviced in the coming weeks to change my mind.
If he is potent from offensive plays and the offense is scoring at will then it wont matter who returns kicks.
But until I see the offense as a consistant potent force, I think the constant advantage of good field position that he provides is just too valuable.

Finally, someone who understands what I've been saying.

    Nice post my friend.

Definitely yes. You put the ball in the hands of the player that is going to net you the most yards.

AD is that guy on KO returns with the explosion & speed he has. I don't think he is any more at risk of injury than on any running or pass play.

I believe it would actually be less, based on the type of players the defense will have on the field. He will be going up against mostly special teamers & a kicker, rather than huge linemen.
    And another one.
    Finally.
    Good stuff my friend.

As Turboe said, a kickoff returner doesn't get hurt too often.
I think most of the injuries on the special teams happen to those who are blocking or getting blocked.
On punt teams, there's a chance that if AD didn't call for a FC he could get clocked, so I wouldn't use him there except in special situations.

By all means, use AD for kickoff returns!

Takes less pressure off of our inexperienced offensive leader, QB.
He has to travel less yards and it allows him not to have to put a 15 play drive together but rather a 10 play drive instead.
Less plays, the less he has to be perfect while learning.

We use AP, like Chicago uses Hester, except we use Adrian on kick-offs. He's explosive, and it's get's him in the game right away. I think the coaches are doing a great job utilizing Adrian, and Chester Taylor. They are gonna gash and slash the cowturds today, opening up some play-action that we must capitilize on. Good kick returns give us a field position advantage that will come up big for us. It would be great to see him take one to the house.

If the coaches put the label of No.1 (starting) RB on him then they would be saying why are you using your No.1 Rusher to return kicks.
    LOL!

So why attach labels, they ar so limiting.

Like you said, it gets our No.1 RB on the field one play sooner.
