in certain situations, like when we need a big play....

and you really cant play the game hoping that someone doesnt get hurt, you gotta use the players that will help you win, where ever and when ever you can

I'm pretty sure the coaches know this too. It isn't always him that is returning them. They mix it up. I like the way they are doing it now. At the end of last game was a great time to put him in and he had a great return which basically won the game.

Definitely yes. You put the ball in the hands of the player that is going to net you the most yards.

AD is that guy on KO returns with the explosion & speed he has. I don't think he is any more at risk of injury than on any running or pass play.

I believe it would actually be less, based on the type of players the defense will have on the field. He will be going up against mostly special teamers & a kicker, rather than huge linemen.
The players are also flying at him in sprint, at a complete opposite direction. There's a reason top wideouts don't return kicks, because the injury risk IS there. Not to mention he won't be able to run the ball on the first down immediately following.

Certain situations, maybe, AND ONLY his rookie year. To even suggest he permanently stay back there is LUDICROUS.

He obviously shoul be returning kicks in big spots due to his explosiveness, but he should not return them as often as he has been. T-Will has shown he is more than capable of busting off some decent returns and B-Wade is a solid return man as well as is Mewelde Moore. Use All Day when absolutely needed.

Depends on the direness of the situation, what quarter were in and the score. But yes we should use him 4th quarter (maybe 3rd) and were down.

It also depends on how many carries he gets and how well chester is running.

I continue to be amazed at this young mans talent. His speed and ability to see the field and the way he cuts off his blocks is allready getting him national attention as one of the premier R/ B's in the NFL. Now, that being said, how do you feel about him being used to return kickoffs. As valuable as it was last week against DA BEARS, it is not IMO a good idea to use him that way and I hope they start using someone else in that role. I would hate to lose his talent due to some career ending injury on a kickoff. How often do you see other teams using their #1 back to return kicks. L.T. does not do it, Addai does not do it, L. Johnson does not do it, S. Jackson does not do it, ect ect ect. What are your thoughts?

No he should not be returning kicks.

I don't want him to get hurt.

only when we need a big play..either were playing crappy and need a boost, or late in the game when we need a big run back (even moss was used in those situations)
