ain't that the truth. I think there will several veterans looking over their shoulders once the OTAs and mini camps start. Guys are going to have to work hard for their roster spots this year which is no bad thing. As you say it will be interesting to see which vets have most pressure and my money is on both Jimmy K and Hicks as well.
Time spent annoying a Packer fan is never time wasted...

I just hope everyone plays to their potential and we gel as a team quick.. Green Bay's in trouble come opening night..

    SLB Ben Leber
    SLB Erin Henderson
    MLB EJ Henderson
    MLB J Leman
    WLB Chad Greenway
    WLB Rufus Alexander

    ST Heath Farwell
    ST Derrick Pope
    ST Dallas Sartz
We are not keeping 9 LBers Pope will be the main back up behind each LB spot with Farwell and Chirchu filling in and unless someone become lights out on ST they are not going anywwhere.
If we keep 7 LB then Erin has a chance to make the team, But He will have to compete with Alexander if he can stay healthy. Although I understand why the they picked him up being EJ's brother, this may of been the worst the worst thing for him. HE is not EJ nor should anyone expect him to be, He was un drafted for a reason. And people will become pissed if he gets released even if he deserves to be. I hope he does well but people need to also look at the reality of what may may happen and what type of player he is.

I remember when he was going to be like a second or third round pick... and then teams found out about his knee and didnt want to draft him... but if he can stay healthy i can almost guarantee he makes the team

IF ... and it is a big if ... Erin's knee is not hampering him, then he is definitely and NFL caliber LB. I don't know where he fits for sure in our scheme of things, but he can definitely perform at the NFL level if his knee is up to snuff.

The thing is, Erin Henderson may eventually be just as good as his brother.
They both carried 2nd round grades coming into the NFL draft.
If it wasn't for his knee which must have gotten him taken off of everyone's draft boards, I'm almost sure he would have been drafted that high.. there's a reason everyone projected him there up until 2 weeks before the draft.
I understand he may not pan out, but don't discount that he's very talented.

How bad is his knee anyway?
It must be substantial if he didn't get drafted since he has loads of talent.
Does anyone know if he is going to need corrective knee surgery again?

If he had to get his knee fixed up this year, it could be a blessing for the Vikings.
That would leave the option of us putting him on IR, that way we wouldn't lose him to a rival team.
Meanwhile he can rehab fully and adjust to life in the NFL with his brother.
Rock out with your cock out!!!
