    Our Old Offense/Defense

I miss our old offense. The Brian Billick Offense, and the Mike Tice offense. I know the KAO-WCO was second in the league under brett favre, but we had a working OL, 3 good WRs(Berrian was still serviceable back then) The Adrian Peterson threat, and Brett Favre. Hell we didn't even run the ball that much, If we didnt have adrian peterson, we probably go 14-2 that season, cause peterson costs us atleast 2 games, and fumbled 3 times in the saints NFC championship game. The Mike Tice offense spreaded the defense out more, we RARELY go four wide, and if we do its on like 2/3 n long. Our Run Run Screen Punt offense seems to be back, and I think a new philosophy is needed. When we had the tice/billick option we always had 4-5 WRs out, and Dante Culpepper was tearing teams apart. Now the Randy Moss effect may have made Dante Culpepper a better QB than what he is, but his arm was terrific and Randy Moss/Nate Burleson/Robinson(Tall one)/Robinson(From Seahawks)

I miss the Ted Cottrell Defense. When Ted Cottrell was D-Coordinator, our Safeties roamed free, and we were picking off everything in site. We were second in the league n take aways in 2004-2005, and we had a lot of called blitzes in sacks. We did blitz MORE last year, but it was predictable blitzes, nothing on like first down, always blitzed on third down and got torched. This Cover 2 shit has got to go, even Matt Stafford has learned how to stop it. We need more man blitz, and man zone. We cant play zone 24/7 like we have, especially against good QBs and WRs. what do you guys think?

What was my old avatar? I don't even remember...

I don't really miss my ex... no more than I miss Mike Tice's coaching abilities at least.

Forgot about Brick... just tried logging in as Brick, can't remember the pw.

C Mac D has the 12,000+ post count though, gotta love that. All 12,000 posts are 100% factual.

    This thread is already derailed.

Is there such a thing as less than a 100% factual?

There is some truthiness to that statement.

Tice was a Great HeadCoach, he had a great offensive mind, and had wonderful plays. He was out of the box, and not traditional like our past headcoaches. I'd take Tice back in a heartbeat.
