Seriously, Moe is lucky to be on the team right now the way Tice made it out. He is showing his years in the league I think. Tice made it sound like he is walking wounded and will barely make it on the field this week. If I remember right, he won't be doing 3rd downs at all this week, and one of the other backs is going to cover it.

Re: Our new third-string quarterback is...

Speaking of being multi talented, did anyone see Cody Pickett come in as a back up QB for San Francisco last week. He was a 3-4 stringer a couple weeks ago, but when Alex Smith went down he was listed as 2nd stringer behind Ken Dorsey. When Dorsey went down in the game Cody was in the drivers seat.

That in and of itself wouldnt be that amazing of a story except that Cody is an ex-rodeo clown tough guy that had somehow worked his way onto San Fran's kickoff coverage team. So here he was playing QB and also playing on the Kick-off team, he made a fairly critical Kick-off tackle late in the game in San Fran's upset victory over Tampa.

Well Dorsey is still doubtful, and Cody is expected to be Sundays starter so I wonder will he still be playing on the Kick-off team.

I wonder how many years it has been since a starting QB has also played on the Kick-off coverage team?

So what you're really saying is SF has a clown for a QB?

Yes, in the unlikely event that Brad Johnson gets knocked out of Sunday's game against Detroit
I don't know how true that is considering our line.
