    Optimistic Thread

    Everyone is down on everything.

We knew we had a tough beginning schedule.

We knew we had concerns at QB.

So I don't understand why the uproar at the surprise at our record.

    Grren Bay,
We let up a couple big plays, still had last drive to win.
    Didn't
Colts, Killed for 3 quarters, let up a couple big plays but still could have finished.
    Didn't
    Panthers,
    Awesome defense.
    Offense did enough.

Titans, Flags, turnovers, some REAL bad calls.
closer than score and were within one score for last drive before Gus flung it for GOD's glory.

    We knew that
the first part was hard, but looking at what we have done.
It's not like we are watching the Lions where we got demolished and got outclassed by every opponent.
1 or 2 plays every game and we are 4-0 and everyone is talking Super Bowl.

The main reason I am not freakin out is even after this god aweful start we are still only 1 game from the division lead with 5 division games to go.
If we want the division then it is ahead of us not behind us.

    SKOL VIKINGS

At the end of the season we WILL be in the playoffs and people will NOT want to play us.

    That's what we all hope.

Well thought out, and a good attitude, SKOL!

    Re: Optimistic Thread

I know this is an optimistic thread but I heard the same crap last year about how we almost won a lot of games. I am sick of almost winning. Almost does not get us in the playoffs. This team was mediocre last year and mediocre this year.We keep bringing in talent and not getting better. Sounds like coaching to me.

It's another year older for me, actually year 29 of hoping these bastards will win something..
So gotta be optimistic and hope they get their shit together.

MMMM Optomism, It would taste so much better if we weren't such underachievers for the past 3 years.

Maybe we can get fair reffing performances the rest of the season, that would be one unit we won't have to beat, then comes oursleves the biggest key of all.

It is hard to be positive when your coach gives up in the Titan game. It is time to give up on him.

    Agreed, complete illogical to punt.
Plus the call a time out to discuss the red flag.
just go out and make an a ass out of yourself,
    game stopped, no
    problem, then throw the flag.

But we got him, and I'm hoping the talent can outweigh his retartedness. But I sure shit won't waste another year hoping to fire someone when it won't happen.

We go win the games we should which if you look at the rest of schedule we should.

We can still get on a role, right? Right!
A win this week and with the teams in our division, it is not out of reach. packers are hurting (no qb), bears are inconsistence and the lions are terrible.

Saints are bad on the D side, have no running game, but love to pass. One dimensional. We can stop that, right? RIGHT!
    We're bringing purple back.

Exactly... The same as last year.
    That's not an improvement.

FIRE BRAD CHIL...wait, that's not optimistic.

The Vikings get a chance to redeem themselves on Monday night.
    SKOL VIKINGS!.

    That's better.
    ;D
