I think his offense came before he was even in NFL football. I could be wrong.

no, you're right, it was when lewis was in college. but it was also a federal charge for using a call phone to get drugs, and had a max of 10 years. he's lucky he got the 4-6 months in jail that doesn't start till after the seasons over. still, any drug conviction, even if it was before he was in the league, means he's getting a suspension.

I wonder if he was charged with a felony or if they lessened it to something smaller. Man if you have a felony there are a lot of things you can not do anymore.

I knew a friend form high school that had a felony and he couldn't hunt anymore. Luckily he knew someone who knew someone that knew the Gov and he got pardoned after a couple of years in jail. Now he can hunt. He was a good guy, just got drunk and went haywire.

well, it's a federal drug conspiracy case......... so i'm guesing it's a felony.

all kinds of weird running back stuff going on. onterios drug stuff, jamals drug stuff, and now the pothead wants back in to the dolphins. taking away that 8.5 mil bonus sure made him change his mind.
