    One Name: Troy Williamson

At the beginning of the season there was hype about him turning things around.
No one has said a word, or at least I havent read anything about him this season.
Is he still a disappointment this season?

He's been getting plenty of playing time and I've seen some good improvement in him this season..... It's just a matter of getting him the ball more often I believe...

IMHO, he is still the 3rd (possibly 4th) best WR on the Vikings.
Take that for what it is worth.

At least he got his vision corrected
    ;D

Seriously... I think he can become a nice niche player to stretch the field that is if he can get off the line of scrimmage.
Watching him, he gets handled with the jamb way to easily.

To me Troy Williamson at best is a TJ WhosYourMomma, or a Reggie Wayne (who could be a number 1 anywhere) Hes a WR that to me needs another elite receiver around him for him to truly shine.Hes not number 1 caliber. If you think he is...take off your purple shades.I think he pairs off with Rice quite well, and WHEN ( oh I swear to god Childress you better) we get a better WR in FA next year...I expect him to get better.

Its a sad way to look at him, but I find it spot on.

Theres NOTHING greater then a Florida Gator!

I think our passing game as a whole has alot to do with Troy's lack of production. He's caught some slants, and had his hands on a deep ball or two, but as our offense gets better he could still get a half dozen TD's this year. Tarvaris is back and I'm looking for some chemistry to develope in that passing game. We've missed too many close ones and it's time to stop the overthrows to wide open guys.

i agree 100% he came in and was supposed to be the star he wasnt ready and thats not who he is, he is a good second target and i think he will excel if we had a true number 1

Troy couldn't catch a pepper-shaker if you passed it to him at the dinner table.
