One-dimensional Vikings no playoff threat

Peterson a great back, but that's not enough to scare any postseason foes

Adrian Peterson is one of the best running backs I’ve ever seen. He’s up there with Barry Sanders and Jim Brown and all the rest, a guy who can bust one every time he touches the ball. And still, the Vikings don’t scare me in the playoffs......

Re: One-dimensional Vikings no playoff threat
its kinda true, but then again almost none of us even expected to make it to the playoffs, so i'll gladly go there and lose.
Next year however hopefully will be a good year for us.
However, yes Tavaris had an off game on many of those throws, but before this game he's been playing decently.
He had what, 249 yards in that game last night?
I believe thats his highest total as a starter, and the Furgy interception on the first drive wasn't his fault, and the fumble was Peterson's fault.
if he is more calm than that in the next two games.. and into the playoffs, we still have a shot against any team.
But even if we don't, like i said, i won't be that dissappointed

That Mike Celizic is a hack. He see's one game, a NFC North match-up notoriously a ugly match-up, and write's this drivel. The Saint's aint even gonna make the playoffs you bozo.

Re: One-dimensional Vikings no playoff threat
i think the reason Jackson played poorly is because he was asked to play quarterback.
This game he couldn't just go out there and manage the game, he had to take control and make some thing happen because the bears were keying in on AD and CT.
He made a couple of awful decisions, but overall it wasn't awful and he'll only learn and get better by it.

Re: One-dimensional Vikings no playoff threat
Thanks for the read my friend.
We all need to stand by for more drivel just like this, however, the sad truth of the matter is, TJ still has only had 12 starts, is a project in the making and will struggle in games were the OL doesn't give him above average protection.
Long story short, this team has more issues on offense than our young signal caller my friends and that is why they won't scare anyone in the playoffs, if by some miracle we do make it.Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

Peterson (sic) a great back, but that's not enough to scare any postseason foes
I don't necessarily want to scare anyone...I just want us to win games. I believe we are at our best when we are not expecting to win. And that's not a bad thing.Any man who afflicts the human race with ideas must be prepared to see them misunderstood. - H.L. Mencken
