Re: OL Last Glaring Hole Address (Bleacher Report)

Let's see what kind of difference a coaching change can make. I agree with the rotoworld quote from Fuad, it's going to be interesting.

I think the McKinnie cut is an addition by subtraction, we might be a better group in terms of toughness and drive, but that doesn't change the fact that Hutch and Loadholt excluded, every guy on our line was drafted after the 5th round.

Re: OL Last Glaring Hole Address (Bleacher Report)

I think most people seem to forget something. The biggest change to the offensive line this season will not be a player, but rather a change of philosophy.

If I remember correct, we switched from our usually zone-blocking scheme to a mano-y-mano scheme. I think it's too bad we didn't do it before since I think it's the best scheme for our linemen, especially when we had Bryan McKinnie in the lineup.

Hmmm... I guess we will see then... Many fans wanted this.

After watching the Lions D line last night I have one single question to the Ryan Cook fan club:

Marty- How confident are you that Ryan Cook will be able to contain Suh?

Instead-- You will whine about the passing, the receiving, the special teams and the coaching. You will completely ignore what is being told to you in this context. This is mostly because you are hard-headed and foolish. imo
And what is your excuse gonna be this year when your OL gets your QB wracked up again.....?
