It was either that or the person who called in was either the boyfriend of the woman in question or it may have been the woman Dwight just dumped in favor of the one he took to the stairwell.

Have you ever met a very religious person? A person religious to the point of being on a crusade?

Maybe it was someone who was with their child. The fact that they had to have that conversation with their kid could have pissed them off to the point of calling.

All I am saying is there is no doubt in my mind there are people in this world that would call that in.

    Blue hairs, parents, pastors, women..................
And they all live in Minnesota.

Minnesota is a very liberal state with a lot of old fashion morals by many people. They jump at the chance to call 911 & report the slightest thing.

I grew up in Winona during the hot pants & bikini craze & we had a woman on the city council who fought hard to outlaw them on the beaches. She wanted women to wear only the one piece swimsuits in public.

    I find that so odd.
I live in what most would call the "Bible belt" but it seems the Minnesotans have some deep seeded religion as well.
I know growing up in Iowa it seemed a little different than here, but that was some time ago and I was much younger.
If some dude and chicka were going at it in a hallway outside of a club in Birmingham, Alabama, I have no doubt that someone would call it in.

    That ain't unique to Minnesota.

I really don't thnik this situation has much to do with the population of Minnesota. Who knows what Dwight and this girl were doing. That person has a right to call the police if they are offended by it. Oh, and evertime a player gets in trouble it's there own fault. They make their own decisions and are responsible for them.
You don't have a right to call the cops if you're offended by something.

You do have the right to call if you witness a crime.
Some do, some don't - for most it probably depends upon the crime.

OK, now I have a REAL issue...I just read this took place in the stairwell of a nightclub!
A nightclub people...who would patronize a nightclub, where people go to pick up other people, and call in a report of indecent behavior?
    I mean, come on!
That is like the deviel calling from hell to complain about the heat.
Everyone in a nightclub is usually there for about 2-3 things...let's look in the mirror folks and stop singling someone out because they have the guts to do what you wish you had the guts to do.
Oh yeah - I wish I had the guts to pick up a drunk girl in a bar and take her into a hallway.
    Wow.
    That takes guts.
    : : : : : : :

    I don't call that guts.
    I call that stupidity.
ESPECIALLY in the week following KRob's meltdown.

Yeah, I've spent significant amounts of time in my life in both Minnesota and Alabama. And I would say if an athelete was gettin it on in a stairway.. an Alabama person would probably call the cops as well.

Especially if it was an Auburn player and an Alabama fan caught them.

No doubt. Who knows what happened; it was probably under someone's apartment window. Cops get called all the time for noise, loitering, etc... The question isn't why would someone call the cops, the question is why would a millionaire athlete who plays for a scandal ridden franchise be too cheap and too fuckin dense to get a room?
    I am a dipshit!!!

I never really equated liberalism with old fasioned morals.
That's because you are from Pennsylvannia.

Minnesotans for a great part are very conservative in their ideals. Mostly the older generations.
politically liberal and socially conservative. Think Scandanavian farmer. That's the stereotype anyway. And there are places where it's accurate and others where it's useless. I would think that the folks who frequent Block E in downtown minneapolis aren't necessarily the socially conservative types. Who knows what motivated the caller, but I don't think you can chalk it up to 'minnesota culture'. I'd guess that the caller was either 1) a jealous packer fan, 2) associated with the muck dredging wing of the media, or 3) both.
yea.. most of your minnesotan catholics are like that. minnesota is a very moral state, but very liberal politically speeking.

i had to chime in on this, seeing as my friend is the opposite, a fiscal (politcal) conservative, and a social liberal.. it struck a chord with me
i m better than you, so just give up...
