One name no one has said is Jim Harbaugh. I like his attitude and his demeanor. He took a program like Stanford and made them, a top five team that is almost impossible. he is the ravens coach's brother.
I was just about to post his name until I saw you posted it. The thing I would like about him is that he would hopefully draft Andrew Luck. That's his boy and if we could reunite them in Minnesota that would be awesome.
I am NOT here to provide good football insight or rational observations. I am an emotional 19 year old Viking fan and I expect you to adjust your expectations from my posts.

Re: THE OFFICIAL "WHO IS OUR NEXT COACH" THREAD?

I would love to see them bring in a GM that comes from the Pittsburgh staff. They really know how to run a successful franchise over time and I have felt for a few years that the system they run on offense would work exceedingly well with the talent we have on the roster including even potentially Jackson.

Someone mentioned Pittsburg, Dick LeBeau wouldn't be a bad choice for a guy to give another chance to run an NFL team... plus it would be ironic to hire Tomlin's DC as our head coach

I think he is about 75 years old. I would like to see someone a tad bit younger.

What was Belichick's record in Cleveland?

Just sayin' (and, no, I don't want Lebeau).

Re: THE OFFICIAL "WHO IS OUR NEXT COACH" THREAD?

    Cleveland Browns Head Coach
    Bill Belichick 1991-95

    Regular season record
    36-44-0 (0.450)

    Playoff record
    1-1-0 (0.500)

    Combined
    37-45-0 (0.451)

LeBeau is in his 70's now....Belichick is 59 or 60. LeBeau's HC stint with the Bengals was approx. 10 years ago, and Belichick's Browns were 20 years ago...when BB was 39 or 40. I have a difficult time believing that LeBeau could be coaching the Vikings to Super Bowls in his 80's...LOL Not to mention that even though BB had a sub .500 overall W/L record with the Browns, he DID at least get them to the Playoffs during his 5 years there.

Not really trying to get into a long debate...I know you don't want LeBeau either. I was just bored, and you asked a valid question, so I decided to do a little research.
