    That is all.
If you've played receiver at any level, you know that's not true. There are balls you simply can't do anything with. Hard to catch with the tip of your middle finger on one hand.

Generally, its a good rule of thumb, but that was not a ball that had any business being caught by a Viking.
Actually, I have played WR. And that is COMPLETELY true. "If you get a hand on the ball, you catch it" was drilled in our heads daily.

If you can't catch it, whatever you do, DON'T TIP IT.
I'll agree with only your last part.

However, the "if you can get a hand on it, you catch it" is not always true. There are balls you simply can not catch. He shouldn't have tipped it, but none of that changes the fact that he threw a brutal ball.
Considering the fellow who got a hand on it was considered Golden Fingers Camarillo, I'm going to hold him to the same standards my coach held me to as a WR.
    Considered by who?

I consider him a guy who can't even crack the top 3 on the Vikings roster, behind such studs as Berrian.
I don't recall who exactly, but he was touted when he was traded as a guy that was targeted 70+ times, and had as many catches as the times he was targeted.
So on a crap Miami team, he was the best of the worst?

    Good job.

I might remind you Berrian almost cracked 1000 yards with us. I guess people are touting him as a playmaker then right?

    2 hand rule not 1.
Also, the rule is.. if you can get one hand on it, you can get both on it.
You have clearly never played WR at any level.
Clearly you have the looking glass into my past..

    /sarcasm off
Judging by your body frame, I doubt you would be an effective WR.
Because it's impossible for one to gain weight 10 years after HS?
Body weight and frame are two different things.
Not every WR, especially at the HS level, is 6'4"+ and has arms like T.O.

    LMAO!

Yet last weeks performance by Favre was?

What was it again? Oh yeah, 15/23 for 172 yards & 0 TD's.

This is what I mean about double standards.

Lets not forget Our offense, with Jackson under center, scored more offensive points than Favre has in any game this season.

    AND

He did it without Hutch at LG or Herrera at RG.

I keep forgetting the rule here that a tipped ball is the fault of the QB when TJ's under center & ALWAYS the fault of the receiver when Favre is QB.

Leave it to the haters to not give TJ any credit.
Double standards?! Are you reading some of this shit from Tad7? Talk about double standards!

IMO DeGeare played at a higher level than Hutch. Cook might be better than Herrera. Yes Marrdro I said it.

LOL at the haters claiming tip ball but when it is Favre, LOOK OUT!

    It's all moot

JuddZulgad: Doctors told Frazier that Favre couldn't return but said no QB controversy. Favre will start next week if healthy.

    lol...I'm amazed

The Vikings looked good and apparently Frazier doesn't like that idea. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

It is what it is. He was touted as one of, if not THE, most reliable WR in the league last year.

It's now inappropriate to expect the best from our WRs?

Re: The OFFICIAL Vikings vs. Bills Postgame thread

I knew this was gonna get ugly quick lol

Jackson as much as I want him to be great most likely won't be.. Theres very few in the league that are great and can lead a team to a bowl

He was average today.. Inconsistant.. Tried to force some things like the old slinger and payed on that

I don't know what the hell we have until he is a full time starter working with Percy, Sid, Shank and AP everyday

    I expected a 160ish 1 TD 1 Pick game or so..

Find where I said that was a good peformance. It doesn't exist.
Favre managed the game, and didn't turn the ball over.

TJ had a few big plays, a few terrible picks on an otherwise sub-standard day. Just the fact that some actually consider that good QB play is a testament to how bad our QB play has been in recent memory.
This is what I mean about double standards.
    yeah, double standards.

    65%, 170 yards,
    or:
    68%, 187 yards, 2 TD, 3 INT

I'll take the first one thank you very much.

Lets not forget Our offense, with Jackson under center, scored more offensive points than Favre has in any game this season.

Answer this truthfully, do you think TJ played well today? I'm not asking if he played better than Favre has, I'm asking if he played well.

TJack offers more mobility in the backfield and does add another dimension, but I can't stand the jump passes, lapses in reading defenses and the fact that he hasn't changed much in three years. He is not the QB of the future! The Defense looks revitalize, this is a Buffalo team that has been putting up points, but not today. As for QB of the future... Why not Kolb? He is young and the Eagles won't hold on to him with Vick there.

No shit there is no controversy. Anyone who watched the game could figure that out.
