As the panned our staff I just observed how they looked "READY FOR BUSINESS".
It looked very professional and I hope that is displayed on the Field this year!

Even though I think most of it was staged for the benefit of Vikings.com.
Truth be told, at least SOME of those coaches have probably known about the schedule for at least a week.
Hell, the Vikings.com staff had ot know about it early enough to have the web splash, schedule, flash roll, and headline prepared.
I have a feeling the Head Coach and his staff would be let in on the secret before their marketing arm does.

Re: Official Vikings 2009 Schedule thread
I don't like the schedule that much.
The first 2 weeks seem like good match ups on paper, but both will be home openers for the apposing team, which makes them especially tough.
I can't think of a more boring match up for our home opener. San Fran does nothing for me. I hope it sells out.
Monday night against the packers will be sweet. Highlight of the schedule.
Rams meh
Ravens, eh
Steelers ooh
I plan on attending the Packers game in Greenbay.I was hoping for a night game, then stay the night after to celebrate, instead I'll likely be heading out on Saturday, staying semi sober and driving home Sunday night. Also I really wanted to see a game in the freezing cold, not likely to happen on Nov 1.
lions, seahawks, bears, meh, meh, meh
Arizona, I might try to make this game. Arizona in December sounds good to me.
Bengals, meh
The last 3 are gonna be tough. I could see all three of those teams playing for their playoff lives.
No Thursday games again? wtf? I have Thursday games as the most favorable. Sure you have to play on a short week, but so does the other team. The following week you get long week and the apposing team doesn't.

And I really don't see why the placement of the games on the schedule, outside of the possibility of Thursday night games, really has that much relevance.
The Vikings were playing in Pittsburgh, for example, no matter what.
