Official Viking QB Passer Ratings
As of today, here are the official Viking passer ratings:
1) Brad Johnson: 111.5
2) Tarvaris Jackon: 95.8
3) J.T. O'Sullivan: 41.3 (but if Childress had called a field goal to tie it up on the first game it would be 69.8 )
4)Mike McMahon: 8.5 (lowest in the NFL)
Pretty interesting huh? Take with a grain of salt though because the highest in the league is Brain Griese (154.4) followed with Jake Plummer (137.5). Matt Schaub is 55.7 Vince Young is 68.5 Drew Brees is 78.2
You have to take into context the competition they were facing and how the coaches were using them.

While Griese isnt exactly a threat in this league, he isnt dirt. However Jake Plummer is a solid QB, who has significantly dropped his INT ratio over the past couple years. So to see that Brad and T-Jack are up there with him is good. But its the F d@mn preseason so you cant really take to much away from it.Anyways I'm a HUGE fan of protecting the football, lower INT's over more TD's any day in my book.
Theres NOTHING greater then a Florida Gator!

Yeah I know, Griese had the highest rating in the NFL in the 2000 regular season (I actually fear the day Chicago gets a clue and puts him in instead of Grossman), and Plummer made the Pro Bowl this season.
Just saying take with a grain of salt because everybody's rating a inflated in the Pre-Season and it's only two games- Griese and Plummer aren't the top QBs in the league.

Re: Official Viking QB Passer Ratings
Also, McMahon's lowest rating is out of 107 QBs.
Jay Cutler has a 111.3 rating and is looking to be the best pick if you were to pick a QB this year.
And Culpepper's rating is the same as T-Jack's only Tarvaris has bigger hands (Daunte fumbled for a turnover in his last game.)
But he may get better once he's fully rehabbed.

That pretty much sums up how I feel we should go into the season as far as QB order. I felt that way after the last game and I still feel that way.1) Brad Johnson: 111.5
2) Tarvaris Jackon: 95.8
3) J.T. O'Sullivan: 41.3 (but if Childress had called a field goal to tie it up on the first game it would be 69.8 )
4)Mike McMahon: 8.5 (lowest in the NFL)
1- Brad
2- Tavaris
3- J.T.
O'Sullivan outperformed McMahon in the first game (looks at the stats), and more than likely would have again last night (either way, McMahon sure as hell hasn't done anything to earn a spot on the roster). McMahon needs to be cut.
Even babies know the difference.

Not bad T-Jack, not bad. McMahon is terrible though.
Kramer's lineup is good.
