Re: OFFICIAL VIKES vs PACK POSTGAME THREAD

I really enjoyed the smirk on Favre's face when he ran on with the team amid the boos.
It was then that I had no worries about this game.

All I can say is DAMNN!

And stop playing the prevent D when we get ahead!
Play to win not to lose!

And the refs can kiss my !!!

And that should have been a Fumble and a TD for Leber!

And the refs can kiss my !!!

And fall on the DAMNN ball!

But all I can say is DAMNN!
What we've got here is failure to communicate.

    Great win.
Percy was definitely my MVP of the game.
Gave the offense a short field on many a drive.

Favre played another great game, although I'm sure Marrdro will find some negative shit to harp on.

I hope AW is back after the bye, Paymah did as well as expected, but its time to get a real corner back.
With our safeties still trying to figure things out, AW is needed badly.

Rodgers played a good game again.
He got the shit beat out of him, which warms my heart, but I give the guy credit, he keeps his team in the game.

    7-1 going into the bye.
No matter how many faults you find in Childress, you have to give him props for improving this team every year and putting us in a real position at mid season to contend with the best of them.
Hopefully we can continue to improve throughout the second half as other teams no doubt will.

Your team has a 21 point lead do you:
    A) Stay strong on D, go for the jugular.
    B) Play as soft as humanly possible, forget how to tackle.
    C) Run the clock out using your All-Everything running back.
    D) Turn the play calling over to your trusted 7 year old niece, who is unaware of the bribe system NFL officials operate on.
    E) B&D

Which one do you think the coaches picked?

The one thing I want to say more than any other, after this game is.
    Thank you Ted Thompson.
I appreciate the fact you are such a keen evaluator of talent.
Tell Matt Millan we said hello when you go to the losers club!

I think most people would agree that CHilly has grown as a coach. Sometimes we forget that a 1st time HC is learning on the job. I used to bash him, now I love the guy. Sad to see Madden 10 has his rating as -5 awareness for every player on the team.

We are 1 of 4 teams in the NFC that should be in the superbowl.

From an opponent's fan perspective, I would agree.
I think Chilly is one hell of a lot better in his decision making than three years ago.
I have noted a steady progression in those skills.

    Damnit.

Here is another way I look at it.
Who knew we had all this talent on offense before Favre showed up.

We took care of busines in the NFCN.

Time to get healthy and take care of business in the NFC

Re: OFFICIAL VIKES vs PACK POSTGAME THREAD

Packers are going to hand Brian Robison the game ball today. WHAT THE *&%$ WAS HE THINKING? It handed the momentum back to the Pack. Thank goodness for Percy and Brett.

Anyway, I have to give it up for the Pack and Aaron Rogers. They fought hard to get back. That's a good team no matter what the outcome. They need a running game to take pressure off Rogers though. I thought at the end Rogers lost a lot of zip off the ball. Hit too much and threw too much.

7-1 and quite frankly should have been 8-0. Congrats Vikes, you really deserve this Bye. Rest up and lets get home field advanatge for the playoffs.

    So, help me out here.
Once we beat Chicago, do we have the division locked?
