Re: OFFICIAL VIKES vs PACK POSTGAME THREAD

Had some brief moments of hope.

It seems that everyone on the planet knew that we should max protect Rodgers except our coaching staff.

They will be faced with some interesting questions.

Looking forward, I cannot envision a scenario where you guys don't win this division, and based on that game, don't think my team would do much if anything in the playoffs even if they got there as a wildcard.

Congratulations on a huge win (division-wise), and good luck the rest of the way.

Green Bay still made the right choice regarding Rodgers, btw.
I love the kid. He has mettle.
Ted failed him regarding the o-line.
This has been so very obvious through one and half seasons.

I have made the signature adjustment, congrats to V4L on that issue as well.

Revel in it, your team gave you so many good reasons to do so.
    Big win.

Started out as a blow out and turned into a really great game. Near flawless victory.

Now we can ride that high for 2 weeks. Nothing worse than losing going into a bye week
    We're bringing purple back.

From being up 24-3 to 24-20, and not giving up showed some serious heart, I'm very impressed although my heart could take less stress, (Hey that rhymed) On to the bye, and some much needed rest and recovery for some key players. 7-1, It's starting to have that 1998 smell.
Even if the Vikings lose, I can still find happiness in Bears, and Packer losses.

Did you notice they slowed down when we started bringing pressure again?
Why we gave up on that after the first half is beyond me.

If pressure killed them in the first half, why stop?

What a win baby. I got bored watching the game, then I almost had a heartattack at the end -_-. 7-1 baby, lets get it! Only challenges left on our schedule is Cinncy and Arizona.

dfosterf, I must say, you are a classy guy.
No excuses, just a good post.
And by the way, I too think that GB did right by sticking w/ Rodgers.
(not just because it gave us Favre either
    ;D)
It pisses me off to think that after 16 years with a great QB, you guys get another stud right away....

I can't believe it, I'm officially in love with Brett Favre ;D

After watching all this pregame crap and seeing Favre's face on the sideline in the remaining minutes of the game, I'm glad we were able to make this happen.

Now Green Bay needs to get over this jilted love...it's over.
