Playcalling was fine.Once again the play calling screws the QB
Brett is a step ahead of Jackson but no QB will be amazing here
Ill take a 2 TD no pick game
We only see the end result.
We did score 27 unanswered points bro.
Something worked.

Had the game in hand, no need to hurt the guy.

Exactly this was the Browns and the Lions, But It was also on the road. S iam not sure what we have really seen yet eitherA win is a win. It's almost a mirror of last week. However, I am afraid what will happen when we play a team like the Steelers or Saints, who do not take their feet off the peddle. Our first half play may hurt us against a top teir team. Hopefully we clear this up.

Re: OFFICIAL VIKES vs LIONS POSTGAME THREAD
Great job regrouping at halfimte. When we were down 10-7 at the half, I thought it would be a repeat of last years games against the Lions where it came to the final minute. Both defense and offense stunk in the first half. The defense came up huge in the second half and the offense held up it's end.
It was good to see Brett hit his recievers today and the O-line hold up in the second half.
Percy Harvin is a game changer. Just wow. Yards after the catch is ridiculous.
We have blown out two teams that we should beat. That is a sign of a good team. Despite winning the division last year, games against weaker teams were nail-biters that went down to the wire.
Halo 4. Start another fight.

Re: OFFICIAL VIKES vs LIONS POSTGAME THREAD
Just too much talent overall for the Lions to deal with.
Obvious shortcoming of the game:
pass protection.
This had better change, or we will go through all of our QB's and be asking for Tarkenton to come out of retirement.
Absolutely horrendous.
Favre took what they gave him time to take.
It's nice to see a QB of ours take the 8 yards given when the opposing defense is 8 in the box.
A couple of nice quick throws (well, they all had to be quick) to Rice and Berrian.
Percy Harvin is starting to show us fans why the Coaches and the FO waived Bobby Wade.
He just needs to be on the field.
He is one helluva football player.
Red Zone, really, anywhere, he's just deadly.
The gameplan was fine.
A little concerned about the run defense...but, not overly yet.
Liked the defense a lot more when they blitzed more.
Adrian Peterson continues to amaze.
Glad they decided to rest him a little.
SF is gonna be a much tougher game.
Overall, kinda what was to be expected, a Viking win against a shitty team.
Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent

As a matter of fact, I do know

Re: OFFICIAL VIKES vs LIONS POSTGAME THREAD
I was watching a crappy stream on and off, the quality was bad and it was slow so I missed much of the game.
What was the deal with a couple of the timeouts called?
The first one called, it was around 11-12 minutes left in 1st quarter, right before Peterson's fumble. 4th and 1 in the 4th quarter, why call a TO on 4th and 1 then come out and kick the field goal??
Hopefully clock management does not become an issue down the road.
Our huge cushion gave Johnson the catch on his TD, I can not understand why we play with that big of a cushion, it's basically free receptions. We have extremely physical corners why waste their physicality?
Why do we come out flat?
Coaching is an issue.
