I am coming to Minnesota for the game from Canada and would like to come along if thats cool. I read the forums a lot but don't really write on them.

Questions:

What time does it usually start at?

Do we really just need to bring food and beer?

Is 'Lot 1' well marked? What is the closest major intersection?

Anything else I need to know?

Yup, you only have to bring food and beer. Hell, I don't even bring food - I prefer to eat on the plaza.

We will have people at the tailgating lot early - like 6am early - but the main group doesn't start showing up until 9ish.

We are easy to find - pretty much the closest tailgating spots that you can get to the stadium! This should help:
