Re: * OFFICIAL * Reflections On The Game

Man was that fun to watch.
I liked what the offense did, but the drops are killing us!
I hope they get a handle on that because if we start to comvert those slants this offense can start to move some. I really liked Anthony Hererra (RG) today, that right side didn't look like sieve at all.
Also no penalties helped out a lot.
AP was dominate, and Tavarias looked decent today.
    Defesne was of concern

The entire week will be a lot quieter than the past few.

Thought more people would come in a celebrate after a good win.

How about the ball that Williamson actually caught?!?!?

If only he could do that more often...

Hopefully, it's a sign of good things to come.

This game actually made watching the Vikes a fun event again!
    All thanks to AD!
    Order my #28 jersey asap!
Williamson though...he still sucks...too many drops...I don't care if he did catch the 1 TD...he's got big problems if he wants to be an NFL WR...

Just a little thougths of that electrifying game

    1The OLine looks quite better
2.Chester Taylor got a good game
3.It is unacceptable winning with about 5 minutes left 31-17 and ending this way......
4.It is weird but the D was a little weak against their run and the deep D was weak as well
5.Longwell did it from 55 yards, give that man credit
6.With AP ,the playaction is gonna be important for us in the coming weeks ,so wake up receivers!!!
7.TJ looked fine with a very solid veteran play...The man got arms, man!!
8.SRice has to get more balls.....

    Go Vikes!!!!!!

AP showed why he should not be given the ball only 4 times in the second half

Williamson took his eye off the ball and dropped the first one, a slant. After that, he played a good game, and definately contributed to this win.

He caught the touchdown pass. He caught a pass to convert on third down and keep a drive alive that I believe resulted in three points. And he had a pretty darn good kickoff return that allowed us to put AD on offense on first down at a crucial time.

It;s a team sport. Today Williamson did his job.

How about Vikings linebacker Ben Leber play today. And interception, a punishing hit that sent a Chicago player out of the game, and got a sack.

    Great game by AP oviously.
The dropped passes looked like they could have gone for big yards so they were gut-wrenching.
T-Jack overthrew a few but I figure his timing is off so I'll let it slide this week.
I agree it should not have come down to a field goal but it was Longwell's longest and a win we really needed so I'm not going to complain much more!
