* OFFICIAL * Reflections On The Bears Game
Let's tie all our "reflections" together into one thread. I'm tired of jumping from thread to thread...
A quick thought -- TJACK missed several open receivers today. Receivers missed a cou9ple of sure catches. We got to clean those mistakes up against Dallas.
And today AD officially became the "Rookie Of The Year" (as if there were any doubts.)
Re: * OFFICIAL * Reflections On The Game
I'm not impressed....l ook what we had to do to win by 3:
-2 INT's
-200+ yards/ 3 TD's / 50+ yard kickoff return from Peterson
-55 yard field goal by Longwell
Now imagine if T-Jack had 1 or 2 interceptions. ...we got lucky. Something's got to happen with this secondary
Re: * OFFICIAL * Reflections On The Game
Should've had one of these right away.
Cannot merge threads older than this thread into this thread.
I am usually here to start an "Official Post Game Thread", but while the Vikings were winning a was in the Dawg Pound watching the Browns beat the woeful Dolphins.
Re: * OFFICIAL * Reflections On The Game
Giving up 381 yards to Griese is cause for concern.
But a win is a win anyday!
Re: * OFFICIAL * Reflections On The Game
While it was great to see Peterson flat out dominate, and to see Jackson not force any turnovers, and to see Longwell come through in the clutch.
It was not pleasant to see us kicking to Hester, and to be giving up big plays late in the game, as though we were celebrating winning a game that wasn't even decided yet.
But, the greatest thing about this game was that nothing was left to questionable calls by the officials.
Win or lose, the refs did a great job.
Okay, check that, the best thing about the game was that WE WON, but outside that, it was the solid officiating.

So I guess when we lose by three it is what? Bad luck?
If this wasn't a step forward what was it?
Re: * OFFICIAL * Reflections On The Game
good reads by TJack IMOP.
Drops hurt us.
tried to go deep a few times
which was good.
some over-throws hurt us.
Overall I think we did a decent job today.
It got us a win and that is the main thing.
Re: * OFFICIAL * Reflections On The Game
We did win...and everyone knows that Peterson jersey's are going to be selling through the roof. I just hope that our running offense and our defense is enough to take down Dallas, which I'm not quite sure of

Except for one VERY BAD spot of the ball.
Re: * OFFICIAL * Reflections On The Game
It is also sad that when we win things here are quiet as opposed to when we lose.
The entire week will be a lot quieter than the past few.
Thought more people would come in a celebrate after a good win.
Nothing wrong with venting, but we have a lot lore traffic when we blow it.
