Re: OFFICIAL POSTGAME THOUGHTS AND OBSERVATIONS
I am very happy that my main complaint today is the special teams. Gus is average, but he's better than T-Jack has been in terms of field awareness. Great D-Line. Running game solid. Even Shanks managed to please me.
But those special teams!!! Arghhh!!!

Also, Allen looked pretty good. He plays D like the cowboys. Only shows up when it counts, and boy did he ever show up
We're bringing purple back.

Re: OFFICIAL POSTGAME THOUGHTS AND OBSERVATIONS
Love what I saw out of Gus.
Defensively, I expect this every game.Because I'm a Vikings fan, they are that much sexier.

You can give props to Allen and I do too. But this Wyms is the best penetrating Tackle the Vikings have had in awhile. Props to Wyms. Also, Allen looked pretty good. He plays D like the cowboys. Only shows up when it counts, and boy did he ever show up
Oh and what a pro bowl performance by EJ!“What takes a quarterback to the next level is not arm strength or mobility or any of that stuff. It’s the ability to play on critical downs. Manage third downs, or red zones or four-minute or two-minute situations"

Re: OFFICIAL POSTGAME THOUGHTS AND OBSERVATIONS
I live in Virginia and wasn't able to watch the game. I followed it on NFL.com gamecenter, and then watched the highlights on the postgame afterwards. I didn't see the interception, could someone fill me in on what happened? And also, someone give me a logical answer as to why we ran on first down, and then decided to kneel the last 3 downs and give the Panthers the ball (with big play specialist Steve Smith) with a minute left? That made no sense to me, why not run it in with CT and seal the deal? You could take off just as much time on the clock.
