To the Browns. The Browns, the team that traded away Richardson and started their third string quarterback. The Browns, the team we were playing at home.
Pathetic!!!! This group, notice I didn't say team, will be lucky to win a game all year.
Why are we wasting all that money on a new stadium?
We can't stop anyone when it counts. We can't open holes for the best running back in the league. We wasted a good comeback. We let the Browns come in and beat us in our house. A sad day in Viking land.
I tried to be positive going into this game...FIRE EVERYONE! I've had it! Can't take anymore!
We may have just secured the #1 pick in the draft...
I must have been delusional to think we could win and make a run. FIRE EVERYONE! THIS IS AN OFFICIAL DUMPSTER FIRE! Winning last year was the absolute worst thing that happened to this franchise. It gave Frazier and Ponder life. If we had a bad year, we would be talking about our new QB and coach.
Worse than Steckel?
As MaxVike said in the other thread ... they had no run game AT ALL, and their 3rd stringer lit us up.
Just like last week, we were aggressive the entire 2nd half and got the game under control, had Hoyer in check, then with the game on the line we go conservative, allow Hoyer to look like Montana, and we lose. Why can't this team learn?
The offense didn't help, we got the ball back twice in the 4th quarter with the lead and went 3 n out both times. And now I've seen enough of the roll right short pass. Ponder can't roll left, can't roll right, and can't stay in the pocket. Maybe we can work on that the next preseason. Oh wait, except Ponder doesn't get much work in the preseason because clearly he's ready to go.
