Thread: Official Madden score for Sunday's Game

Its been said before but never so truthfully as it is now. I played this game against All-Pro with the AI slider moved up for the Computer, in the cold at Lambeau with starters like Chavous, Rosenthal, Irvin, Kleinsasser out for maximum realism. Also I refused to call the same plays again and again and tried to mix it up as much as possible.

Bennett: 29 rushes for 155 yds and 2 TDs

Moss: 3 rec, 122yds
Burleson: 2rec, 15 yds
Russell also got a sack and B-Will returned an INT for a TD. Elling kicked 2FG.

Farve: 21/29 316yds, 4TD, 1INT
Green: 15 rushes for 130 yds and 1 TD. 2rec, 43yds and 1TD
Ferguson: 7 rec for 118yds and 1TD
Driver: 4rec, 56yds

What? NO TDs for Moss...time to trash that defective game...oh wait, Vikings WON...it must not be defective after all!!!

I'll see if i can match you, i like to play all pro cuase its much more challenging but once you do all madden it gets rediculous, for me anyhow i only won one game in that mode.

I played two 5-min-quarter games tonight (Madden 2005), Vikes vs. Pack, Lambeau, etc. etc. ...

MAdden still have that "feature" where Favre can toss the ball deep into triple coverage and his receiver still comes up with it....every friggin' time?!?!?!?!

I used to HATE that about Madden...even when I was beating Green Bay 105-24.

Umm that happens in real life dude. Have you been watching the Queen/Packer games I've been watching?? :lol:

HELL OF A GAME. One of my best madden games ever. Took chavous, jimmy, irvin, rosethal and the rest of the IR's off and replaced with ralph brown, shaw, morten anderson and what not.

All Pro level, 5 minute quarters, i went into overtime, we each had two posetions but the vikes D came up big, most notable the pass defense of EJ Henderson and Offord. B will also did some nice things, caused a fumble.

Final score was 33-27 vikes victorious. Kevin Williams gets the game ball with 3 sacks. Nate, Moss, and Mrob all had TD's, COULD NOT get the running game going for nothing. I give you props italian for rushing for so many yards as my average was like 2.3 with all the RB's rotating.

If you want "maximum realism" you have to let the game simulate itself. It doesn't count if you play as one of the teams. :idea:

Finally Hovan is not a 90+, hes at 85.

Bennett is dropped a little aswell with Moe as the top overall back on the team, with Smith second. Poor Moore is only a 69. Burleson is at 83.

Culpepper is like a 96 now.

lol..I am glad you won and all Stallion but 41-38?..Why not kick the fg for the tie??..lol..Or did you not have faith???...Because you beat him by 3 and if time ran out do they make you still kick the extra point or not on madden(I am a NCAA fan)...
