    LOL! A "svelte" 355!?

At least he's doing something! And, seems he's been hanging with Venus for a while now...you suppose our gangster rapper wannabe is growing up!?!?

Wouldn't it be better if he was learning from Anthony Munoz? Amazing how much time we (me too) spend observing, talking about, posting, about McKinnie's little head thinking for his big head.

The other night, on NFLN, Willie McGinest was talking about players and getting ready on their own. The host, Rich, asked him, how many do you think are actually working out on their own, unsupervised.

Willie said about 50% and he then said an even more alarming number, 25%. That number is the number that are actually working out the way they should be, correctly.

Although I aplaud big Mac and any other athlete who is atleast trying, I suspect, like Willie, we will see a rash of injuries this year cause players just aren't going to be "Football Ready".
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

HOpefully this whole tennis thing will help Mac going into the season. Not just to get in shape, but get lighter on his feet.

Tennis is a pretty quick game, you have to be able to move quickly if you want to be good. And I'm guessing since Mac is playing with Venus Williams, he must be pretty good.
Hopefully this helps his footwork, allowing him to get out in front of those speed rushers who seem to just zoom right by him.

Challenge for Mac this season: Don't allow a single sack. Shouldn't be tough, that's what he was known for all through college.

I started playing tennis when I was younger for that exact reason - to work on my agility for football and hockey. Best decision I ever made training wise.
