Favre is in control of this offense now. If you seriously think Childress would ever stand up to Favre, you're kidding yourself. Probably another reason why Favre wanted to come to Minnesota, he'll be running the offense. The very best thing is that we will find out who the real Chilly is.
An offensive genius that has been dragged down by bad luck at the QB position or a assistant Coach who snookered a first time owner and should have remained an assistant.
The only thing Childress will do is hide behind Peterson and Favre.
Havn't you been preaching he's a hack?
You should be glad there's someone else running the offense.
Granted, I think you are overstating Favre's control, but if I was Childress I would definitely listen to Favre.
I would prefer Childress having no say at all.
Fire Childress next offseason.
Promote Favre to HC.Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.

Just out of curiosity......has any other thread with FOOTBALL as the topic ever reached 4 digits in pages?

Personally, I don't think there is intelligent life on other planets. Why should other planets be any different from this one?

Completely agree with that comment, thats about all we can ask for right now. Whats done is done and like good Viking fans we gotta just sit back and accept it and hope it turns out for the best....(hope)
Just better pull his ass if he is injured and put the kabosh to that stupid padded streak of his.

Re: FAVRE WATCH: HE IS A VIKING!
The thought of having Favre as the starter and Sage being a very capable backup gives me a lot of confidence. Hopefully Booty can learn something from these two when he battles for the starting job in 2012 with next year's 1st round draft pick.
Halo 4. Start another fight.

Nah, I believe that we were supposed to be in Miami in 98, but dumb luck kept us out.
