7-9 season. No playoffs for us.

But I'll still be chearing for us every game. This is a gelling year, where we are going to need a lot of improvement, and pray that Jackson is going to be ready next year (which is doubtful).

this is how i expect them to play. the teams that will be a tough game are marked as losses. both seattle and new england are good teams so i won't be surprised at all if they lose. they never play well in chicago so thats another loss, and washington will be a tough game, Miami should be tough as well, so that could be a loss. so if they beat the teams they should beat then we're looking at 11-5

Poor start, rebound slightly mid-season, only to finish hot & cold.

Team begins to gel, and function as a unit.

Johnson has tough year. T-Jack gets some playing time and shows flashes of greatness.

Seasons ends with disappointment, but 2007 season is where it all changes for the better.

Super Bowl rings finally appear and the wait was well worth it as Vikes appear in 3 of the next 5 Super Bowls winning 2 of the 3.

T-Jack become franchise player in the mold of F-Tark and dynasty comparisons begin ala Patriots / 49ers / Cowboys / Steelers.

That summary is close to along the lines of my thinking too, maybe not quite as optimistic. I'm going with a SB win within the next 4 yrs.

I find it interesting to note that despite people bashing on DC's abilities to play QB (fumbles & picks) many people are predicting the Vikings to lose to the Dolphins this year. :wink:

I'm happy with 8-8 or 9-7
what i don't understand is why everybody thinks the lions are gonne do better then us. they still stink just as bad as last year only now with a diffrent coach.
