Re: Offical Post Game Thoughts And Observations Vs. Cardinals

What a game! OMG! WHAT A GAME! I am glad it was not shown localy so I could see all of it. Wow.

The most important thing to me, is, we have needed to win the last three games. And we have! When was the last time we did that? Crazy! We are hitting on all cylinders heading into the post season. I think we have a lot to look forward to.

I have to say, Chilly is KA..the O is KAO. LOL, TJack with 4 td's and Warner with 1 because we couldn't tackle on one play? You really have to be kidding me. Hats off to Chilly, I am saddened to say, but, he has done his job. GREAT play calling, game management, game plan, etc. I sure hope Frazier won't get a HC spot after this year. Not to hold him back, but, man, he is great!

TJack gets the first 4td vikings game since CPep in '04. Can't throw downfield...well, except those two bombs, lol...accurate, they should open it up for him. He is 2-4 intercetions below Frerotte, and more accurate. No wonder Chilly didn't wanna talk about it.

ST? Ok, fine they blocked a field goal, glad they got that outta the way and can make the neccesary adjustments. They actually scored, and, returns were minimal. Great job, IMO.

Defense? The number 2 ranked pass O got one, ...yes only ONE TD off their blocking TE? Yes, with LFitzgerald and ABoldin...one passing td? Our secondary is fixed! We held Bree's down too. Nice to see. JAllen and the DLine are INSANE! I am saddened PWill got hurt. We may wind up with the only one armed DLine in the league, /sigh.

Great team effort, great game plan (especially on D, wow, Boldin and Fitz are SCARY), great coaching. LOVED the play calling. Happy day for a Vikes fan.

67% 3rd down conversion will get the job done any week. We keep doing this and we can do damage in the playoffs. Are we this years Giants?

We just held the #1, now #2 passing team in the NFL in check. That is impressive!

I wonder how Ryan is going to deal with JA and the new Purple People Eaters, with added crowd noise?

I hope the only ice in Ryan is that cold feeling in the guts a QB gets just before he realizes that he is going down hard.

I can't make it this week.

Pretty nice quotes about AD from the Card's defensive players.
I love it when they talk about him for some reason.

Cardinals notebook: Vikings’ Peterson shows why he’s the best
    Comments 0| Recommend 0
    Mike Tulumello, Tribune

He was who the Cardinals thought he was. And then some.

Adrian Peterson lived up to the hype of the game’s best running back and possible MVP.

He sliced through the Cardinals’ defense, even though they generally were playing to stop the run, for 165 yards on 28 carries (a 5.9 average).

“He’s the guy. … I can’t say enough good things about him, about the way he plays, the demeanor he plays with,” Cardinals safety Adrian Wilson said.

“He’s arguably the best player in the league.”

Wilson, asked if he’s played against a better running back, replied, “Next question. He’s all-world. There’s nothing else you could possibly say.”

But he did have one more thought: “If my son decided to play offense, I’d say look at Adrian Peterson.”

Defensive end Antonio Smith said, “With all due respect to what they’ve got going, he makes the whole setup better with his physical attributes and the things he can do …

“He makes them a lot better than what a normal back would do or what anybody else could do.”

“He is the best back in the league,” linebacker Karlos Dansby said. “He makes people miss, and he has the ability to take it to the house when he does.”

I also like the fact that two of the top players being suggested for the MVP are Warner and Ryan.
Warner looked bad, and Ryan will too.
No way he will do well in the dome with that pass rush.
