Childress said Smith has a clen slate with him. Do you think he will stay a viking?

I think it depends a lot on how he performs in minicamp/training camp.

From what I believe with Childress, he will get a chance.

The Childress comment that I like the most is this.

"If you are man enough to ask, I am man enough to tell you. I will always be glad to let you know where you stand" on my team.

I interpret that as if he say you have a clean slate you have a clean slate. There might be a condition or two with that, like you need to apologize to the team and make ammends, but you will get a second chance.

That is what I like about hiring a new coach, it is a fresh start for so many and players can't sluff, cuase they don't know if they are "IN" with the new coach. They have to prove it.

I think O. Smith stays this year, and after that it's up in the air. I'd like to see him get another chance because the guy has crazy talent, and if he's "reformed" he could be a franchise back. I hope Childress sticks to his guns with this one and gives Onterrio another shot.

I think he will stay with the Vikes. I hope he has kept himself in very good shape since he has been gone or he won't be getting any carries I would think.

I suspect he will have to pee in a bottle several times a week for the season if he comes back. He better put his wizzinator up on ebay as well.

O-Smith will return, we wont draft or pick up a RB in FA and then 4 weeks down the road he'll get baked and get suspended and we'll end up with just MeMo who will get hurt every other play.

That was with the old coach. I don't think it will be the case with our new coach.

haha Hopefully your right RK, I dont mind taking him back....but I do not beleive he is the answer to our RB issue. I hope that we still address it in the Offseason highly.
