    Re: not so special teams

I am more worried about Gus throwing picks at this point. Especially this weekend. Tampa is not known for running back kicks. He right now throws about 1 INT for every TD. Not good. He is one INT behind Favre but Favre has thrown twice as many TDs. Hmmmmmmm

    Already tied one.

It's now given up four touchdowns in nine games, tying the NFL record for a season.

    Hey Marrdro

Your boy Curciu missed a tackle on the 2nd kickoff to the Pack.. Griff went threw first and run by.. Then Vinny ran right by and wasn't close

And on the punt return for a TD he missed his tackle like he always does

Time to put the starters in on SP
Lots of starters already do play on ST.
Hell, Ced Griffin was playing gunner yesterday, and doing a fabulous job of running right past the punt returner.

    =Z=

And kick returner on the second kick off

    Marrdro will beg to differ

I see him week in and week out miss tackles and overrun the runners or get totally manhandled

And Marr still won't believe me..

Watching this game again I know for sure he misses two plays.. 1 lead to a touchdown

So yah I agree.. He sucks.. he's horrible

I cringe when I think of the possibility of the specials teams blowing a game for us down the stretch which costs us a playoff spot/ division title in Nate Poole like fashion

    Re: not so special teams

On that punt return that Blackmon took at his 1 yard line Circiu ran by him once again but Sapp I think it was wrapped him up then Vinny comes flying in when he's on the ground

Vinny is FAR from a special teams ace

I seriously wanna see him gone

marrdro how can you honestly think he has any talent?

He is LUCKY to get a tackle a game on special teams when he is supposed to be one of our aces

    Re: not so special teams

We are currently tied for most ST touchdowns given up in a season... and we're going into week 11.

    It's sad to watch.

    Re: not so special teams

Who is responsible for our ST? Is it Dickless or Ferreo? Can Dickless fire him or does Wilf? Or the ToP?

They have sucked too long. We need to put in Leber, Greenway and Winfield every time. And bench Griffin. I love seeing him on his a$$ or running past everything. but its hurting the ST. Herron and Vinny are just as bad. We really miss Farwell. Something has to be done. Now. We cant cover and we get a chance to return its usually a bad return or just average. Too bad we didnt get Hall when we had the chance.
