Not much love for the Vikes on their quest the Super Bowl
http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/4856320
But Elliott Kalb must be either a huge Vikings fan or rooting for Wilf to come in as a rookie owner and win it all.
That jerkwad Jay Glazer even picked the BEARS to win the NFC North, for crissakes! What a tool!!!BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

"In the world of major-league sports, Elliott Kalb, a.k.a "Mr. Stats," is the Sultan of Stats, the Tsar of Trivia, and the Final Word in armchair-athlete disputes."
I wonder what his prediction is for the Giants game this year?

Re: Not much love for the Vikes on their quest the Super Bowl
Face It, people other than Viking Fans are sick of putting their heads in a vise. We have let them down and left bad tastes in their mouths SO MANY times it is not funny.
Every year, we climax before the final game.
We need to change our let down ways or we will receive no lovin' from the media. That is why it is so easy to pick the Pats. They haven't let anyone down for 2 years now.
Hopefully no one is out there slitting their wrist about now, but this is the truth. I don't care if we have the love. I think we will be better as the underdog. I actually wish that not one person picks us to win. That would make me happy.

Re: Not much love for the Vikes on their quest the Super Bowl
The Vikes are almost always contenders. It's just the continuous late-season meltdowns that drive everyone to mock our team.
No matter how far they get in the post-season, they will never get respect until they win the Superbowl.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, hopefully for the last time...This year, the Vikngs will win their first SB.
