Thread: Not much activity...

on the board for the day before gameday...what gives???

not much to talk about right now. Take me for instance, i'm at work right now...been here since 5 p.m. I'm scheduled until 1 in the morning. It's so slow here...not much action...waiting on the final NBA game to be over so I can do the summary/update standings, etc, as well as the final college football bowl. i'm so ready to high-step it home

Well see'in that your looking for a few replies on game-day eve...I'll be happy to oblige! I for one feel an uneasy tension because this years ending is so similar to last years! That's probably why I haven't been saying too much over the last two weeks or so. I just hope our guys get it together...both the O and the D....just for one game! It sure would be nice to win a game and not have it go down to the last play or thirty seconds of the game!!! Remember when we used to win the odd game without all the drama...or when we had a 17 point lead into the 4th quarter??? I think all the nail biters over the last 5 weeks or so have taken it's toll on me. It's a good thing I'm not eating those red peppers stuffed with feta anymore!! GO VIKES IN DC!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cheers:

I will be there at the game cheering our guys on...and tailgating before the game with the other Purplepriders that show up!

One of these days I going to come out to a game out in Minnesota or back east somewhere...is it easy to find other vike fans in the parking lot or in the bars when the Vikes play on the road?

I think that Canuck is right. It has been an uneasy feeling the last 2 weeks or so. I just haven't had much to say. I figure with all the newbs posting posting posting away, it had all been covered.

Also, been so busy with the holidays and now work.

About the game tomorrow, I am going to predict a victory. I just hope that our sick guys will be well enough to play good football. I heard Daunte had the flu on Wednesday and that Wiggins is also sick. There may be more.

I hate to say it but I don't see us dominating the game. It will come down to the fourth quarter. And Cajun, I hope that you are a good luck charm for the Vikes tomorrow.

I think you just hit the nail on the head as to lack of enthusiastic posts. I think everyone is wondering if they can take another 4th quarter game against a team we should easily put away. :? And if it comes down to the end of the game can we put them away or will they fold again in the last 2 min of the game. I hope we win the game but its hard to wear the heart out on the sleeve again this season.

Yeah, I was reading a couple of other threads and it is like this in addition.

We had so many expectation at the beginning of the season, then we went 5-1. Then we Climaxed and Rolled over and went to sleep. I am waiting to get the Hard On again.

The Pack was totally the opposite, they were limp dicks, not much excitement and then took a couple of Viagra and are riding into the playoffs.

It is easy to be up when you are winning. When you are losing, it takes a lot to get up for the games.

Expectations are different for the Vikes fan now than they were after weeks 6 and 7.

We are not worried about climaxing, we are just worried about getting a little action at all.

Snow, I think you watch to much T.V. The advertising obviously works. Myself, I just got suckered in to working tomorrow. At least the game is on T.V. at work, and I have it recording at home on TiVO. But work will likely be crazy. I put my two weeks in three weeks ago at this job, what the HELL am I doing.../sigh. GO VIKES, I hope we "do a cartwheel" in to playoffs. =P.

So you must work for espn or something like t hat huh???

Your job must be pretty interesting to do stuff like that.
