No sacks? No worry, Vikings are saying

Defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier says the team hasn't revealed any of its tricks during the preseason.

"We have some things up our sleeve, so to speak," strong safety Darren Sharper said. "We haven't shown you any of it yet. Stay tuned."

Talking to reporters after the game he said,

"We'll be OK," he said. "Ask me about the pass rush after the Atlanta game."

Sure do hope we don't have to "ask him about pressure". I hope they show us.

An area of great concern and great disapointment for me last year was our sack total and lack of
preasure on the opposing QB....

This year, I think we are all in for a great show.
And opposing QB's will be in fear of us at all times........

Atlanta will not beat us by running, and I know happy feet Harrington will be easy picken's back there. I say we get a minimum 4 sacks. Udeze ends his drought, Edwards and Kevin get one, and Robison on rotation will be getting after him. LB's and other blitzer's forcing bad decisions. 4+ sacks, 1 fumble, and a couple picks, should give us a easy week 1 victory. Bring the house Frazier will see to it.

I kinda see that too from the defense.
I also think the Vikes will run at will against the Falcons.
Near, or over 200 yards.
That's bold, but Atlanta will not be able to stop us up front.

I am looking forward to us blitzing more. I hope our pass defense can handle it.
I am sure they will. Robison is a beast.

I am glad that we didn't let any D tricks out. We let the offensive trick out, the Wade as QB trick, should have saved that one.
The preseason was very vanilla, not much pressure.

How many of those turnovers will result in a TD though? We have to be able to turn the turnovers into points. Offensive or defensive TDs, doesn't make much difference to me as long as we get 6 points.
