Not sure where you are going with this. Matter of fact never mention a player of the Vikings getting injured again. I will talk about losing time other than for injuries. I think we will draft a OT like Sam Baker and he will play in place of Mckinnie while he is suspended. He will do a great job and take over for Cook when McKinnie comes back. Ryan Cook will lose playing time.

Why would a normal fan even think about such things?

Yep I realized that after I posted.
    ;D

We're not allowed to attack posters so I will consider the source(the thread author) and just shut my mouth.

Keep in mind that we return 18 of 22 starters on a team that went 8-8 last year with injuries.
Of the 4 new guys, Jared Allen, Bernard Berrian, and Madieu Williams should all be upgrades (to varying extents).
Thomas Tapeh will hopefully be a wash as compared to Tony Richardson, but we only used a FB on about 1/3 of our plays anyway.

    :- Thanks Overlord!
That's all I needed right there!

[glow=red,2,300]I think I'll still do a poll just to get a feel for how the community thinks.[/glow]

Since I'm newer to the community I thought it would be interesting to see where people are coming from.
    My own little "exit poll"
    (i.e.)
who are the optimists or negaducks, are you sportive or more smart-alecky.
Do you hail from the early painful days or was the '98 season your first taste of true heartache?

Hopefully we can all still be friends after this.
If I don't get run out of town, so to speak! :-*

I watched my first Superbowl against the Steelers.
My favorite player is Alan Page.
I remember, like it was yesterday when Tarkenton went down with a broken ankle and Tommy Kramer came in.
I saw Randy Moss score his first two td's against the Bucs (8th row endzone) and I'll be "Chuck Foreman" in age this October.
Oh, yeah I got to see AP in his "comeback" game, score against the Lions!
    That's 2 outta 3 ROY's I've seen live ;D

If Garrett Mills continues to show good promise, ol' Shank-Dog might see reduced playing time.
Too soon to tell right now though.
