i took a lil piece from the article on www.startribune.com i was just wondering what they mean by no more purple pride. someone help me out.

I think ridding ourselves of the Red era issues, maybe. He didn't start the phrase, but popularized it as if it was his original.

Anyways, I agree that it's nice to get rid of Red's purple pride bullcrap. WE as fans have Purple Pride. I hope Zygi has Purple Pride. But with Red, if you want my personal opinion the only color he had pride in was money green.
